Bishop-Elect Darnell D. Jennings I is the founder and Senior Pastor of Imparting Truth Ministries of Cleveland, Ohio. Which was started and launched from the basement of his home in 2014. He’s a Licensed and ordained Elder of the Abrahamic Temple Diocese under the direction of his Pastor and covering Cannon Bishop Wayne Fitzpatrick in Elyria, Ohio. Bishop- Elect Jennings is the husband of Lady Elect Andreya Jennings and the proud father of six (Uriah, Alexandria, Darnell II, Aliana, Ashton and Ammanuel). All of whom he is extremely proud and fond of. 

Bishop-Elect Jennings was called at the tender age of 13 and preached his first message at the age of 14. Bishop-Elect Jennings learned the importance of being a servant and was rooted and grounded in his faith while serving as a faithful and proud member of Zion Pentecostal Church of Christ in Cleveland, Ohio. He was privileged the opportunity to serve and be groomed under the tutelage of the great and early District Elder Donnell L. Lipford from 2000-2004 (founder) and the honorable Bishop C. Wayne Brantley from 2004-2013. Bishop-Elect Jennings has served as an armor bearer, trustee, executive board member, and the assistant director of the evangelism department while at his former church, Zion Pentecostal Church of Christ. 

In 2014, Bishop-Elect Jennings in obedience to the call from God, stepped out of his comfort zone and accepted his call to Pastor. One of Bishop-Elect Jennings greatest passions is for souls, he loves to guide the lost to Christ. He has participated in many street meetings, evangelism services, and even traveled to many prisons and detention homes spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Bishop- Elect Jennings, prides himself strongly on “not doing church with people (because we are the church) but rather doing LIFE with them!” He also believes and frequently references that “True relationship is marked by fellowship!”. You can’t know someone you don’t spend time with. 

In August 2021, Bishop-Elect Jennings became the Senior Pastor of Lakeside Bible Church in East Cleveland, Ohio. Since becoming the successor at LBC Bishop-Elect Jennings have spent countless hours remodeling and building up the ministry. Bishop-Elect Jennings have also started and launched annual events such as Bless the Block, the Power of W.E. Conference, Blessed by the Barbers, an annual warming event give away, book bag giveaway, and an annual LBC revival. Bishop-Elect Jennings has sustained community relationships with NOAH and East Cleveland Concerned Pastors for Change, and established a relationship with the Cleveland Land Bank to purchase land for current and future projects that will benefit the community of East Cleveland.

Bishop- Elect Darnell D. Jennings I, joined Independent Churches United in 2023 and was elevated to Bishop- Elect on July 25, 2024, during ICU’S 2024 SEAL Conference. Bishop-Elect Jennings focused goal is to build the “total man.” His focus is holistic building with complete balance in Christ Jesus. Pastor Jennings greatest dream is to build the “Jennings IMPACT Learning Center” a multi-purpose building to educate, develop, build, train, and deploy holistic individuals. Bishop-Elect Jennings greatest commitment is to preach the unadulterated Word of God and become everything God has created him to be.
